Watamu is a small village that is home to just over 2,000 inhabitants, its name is Swahili and literally means “sweet people”. It is located along white sandy coasts, bathed by the clear waters of the Indian Ocean and its iridescent reflections from green to blue which, based on the movement of the tide, make the landscape always different and fascinating. During low tide you can get lost in long walks on the shore in search of starfish; when the tide is high, you can dedicate yourself to diving and snorkeling to discover the marine fauna that populates the suggestive Watamu seabeds.
