Six days exploring Madagascar's beauty: stunning landscapes, lush forests, wildlife and paradise beaches.
Day 1: Nosy Be – Good Fathers' Waterfall – Ambilobe – Ankarana
Early morning departure towards the port of Hell-Ville (Nosy Be). From here, embark on a private speedboat to reach the mainland in about 45 minutes of navigation.
Upon arrival at the small port of Ankify, continue by car inland, crossing the Sambirano Valley, famous for being Madagascar's main cocoa cultivation area. Along the way, you can also admire ylang-ylang and vanilla plantations, which enrich the landscape with their scents.
Continue towards the Good Fathers' Waterfall, near the village of Ambobaka. Once you reach the banks of the Sambirano River, you will embark on a traditional pirogue, which will take you through the tropical vegetation to the waterfall.
Here you can spend a relaxing day, with the possibility of swimming and immersing yourself in the lush nature of this still pristine area. The site is also known for the presence of traditional phytotherapy practices and local massages. In the afternoon, depart for the village of Mahamasina, at the gates of Ankarana National Park.
Day 2: Ankarana National Park
Full day dedicated to discovering Ankarana National Park, one of the most fascinating and spectacular in Madagascar. This park is famous for its Tsingy, unique pointed limestone formations in the world. During the excursion, you will visit the Tsingy Rary and the large Grey Tsingy of Benavony, walking along breathtaking paths and crossing an impressive suspended bridge.
The route will also take you to the so-called “River Gate,” an imposing natural opening in the rock, surrounded by baobab forests, an iconic symbol of Madagascar.
Around lunchtime, you are expected to arrive at Prince Camp, where a picnic lunch will be served in the shade of the forest, near the campsite immersed in nature.
In the afternoon, continue exploring the park with a visit to the Sacred Cave, famous for hosting colonies of giant bats. Inside the cave, you can admire impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, which testify to millennia of geological activity.
Day 3: Ambilobe – Red Tsingy – Diego Suarez
After breakfast, depart north towards the famous Red Tsingy geological formation, located about 70 km from Ambilobe. The journey crosses beautiful rural landscapes, with rice, cashew, fruit tree plantations, and numerous traditional Malagasy villages.
Once off the asphalt road, you continue along a red sand track about 18 km long, which leads to the entrance of the Red Tsingy Nature Reserve, a spectacular site shaped by wind and water erosion. The red limestone formations, sculpted over centuries, create a surreal and evocative landscape, enriched by canyons and endemic vegetation. The excursion also allows you to explore a part of the dry Tsingy forest, habitat for various species of plants and small animals.
After the visit, depart towards the coastal city of Diego Suarez (Antsiranana), one of the most fascinating places in northern Madagascar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.
In the afternoon, guided tour of the city of Diego Suarez, famous for its colonial and military past. Its architecture, lively markets, and its position on the natural bay make it an ideal stop to immerse yourself in local history. Free time for any purchases in the artisan markets or to relax on the promenade.
Day 4: Joffre Ville – Amber Mountain – The 3 Bays – Diego Suarez
The day begins with a departure towards Joffre Ville, a quiet mountain town located about 40 minutes from Diego Suarez. Here lies the magnificent Amber Mountain National Park, a protected volcanic area that hosts one of Madagascar's oldest and best-preserved rainforests.
During the visit and trekking in the park, you will discover spectacular waterfalls, five volcanic lakes, and extraordinarily rich vegetation. The park is also home to seven species of lemurs, including the Eulemur coronatus, the Sanford's brown lemur, the Microcebus rufus (the smallest lemur in the world), and, with a bit of luck, the elusive Aye-Aye. From the top of the park, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the northern tip of the island.
In the afternoon, depart towards the fishing village of Ramena, the access point for the excursion to the famous Three Bays: Sakalava Bay, Dune Bay, and Pigeon Bay. This coastal itinerary will let you discover pristine white beaches, turquoise waters, and dreamy panoramic viewpoints.
During the excursion, you will also visit the famous baobabs of the north, including the smallest and largest baobabs in the region. Near Sakalava Bay, there is an islet accessible on foot at low tide. The crystal-clear waters and seabeds rich in marine life make the area ideal for walks, wildlife observation, and moments of relaxation.
Sakalava Bay, in particular, is very popular with water sports enthusiasts such as kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Return to Diego Suarez in the late afternoon.
Day 5: Emerald Sea Excursion (Mer D’Émeraude)

It will be an immersive experience in the most pristine nature, where you will truly feel at the confines of paradise.
Arriving on a deserted island, you will have time to relax on the white beach, swim, walk along the shore, or continue snorkeling.
