Day 3 – Ngorongoro
The visit to the Ngorongoro crater will amaze you with the variety of ecosystems that coexist within it: savannah, acacia forests, lakes, swamps, and salt flats. For this reason, the concentration of wildlife is extraordinary and consists of herds of zebras and wildebeest, numerous colonies of flamingos, and countless species of birds, as well as lions, elephants, and hyenas. Dinner and overnight stay at Into Wild Camp (or similar)
Day 4 – Serengeti
The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible biodiversity. In addition to wildebeest and zebra migrations, the park hosts a wide range of species, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, leopards, black rhinos, hippos, and numerous bird species. The variety of habitats, which includes grasslands, savannas, woodlands, and rivers, contributes to the richness of the wildlife. Serengeti National Park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is involved in various conservation activities to protect its extraordinary biodiversity. Efforts have been made to combat illegal hunting, preserve natural habitats, and involve local communities in sustainable resource management. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Into Wild Camp – Central Serengeti (or similar)
Day 5 – Serengeti
The Serengeti is home to one of the few remaining black rhino populations in Tanzania. These majestic animals are threatened by illegal hunting for their horn, and conservation efforts are underway to protect them. The lions of the Serengeti are known for their hunting prowess. The park's open grassland provides an ideal terrain for lions' hunting strategies, as they often work together to encircle and hunt prey. Dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge (or similar)
Day 6 – Tarangire
Tarangire National Park is a protected area located in the northern part of Tanzania, known for its scenic beauty, rich flora and fauna, and the presence of the Tarangire River.
